Luka Modric Denies Perform Crime
Osijek - Real Madrid midfielder Luka Modric has defended himself against false testimony about the case of former Dinamo Zagreb Director Zdravko Mamic. Modric also insisted not to commit a crime when present in court in Osijek, Croatia, Wednesday (5/7/2017)."I came here to defend and tell the truth, for what I did some time ago, I have a clean conscience, I'm sure I did not commit any crime," Modric said.

Zdravko Mamic and three Dinamo Zagreb club officials allegedly embezzled Luka Modric's transfer to Tottenham Hotspur, which touched 21 million euros (310.73 billion dollars) in 2008.
European media reported, the four Dinamo Zagreb officials did not deposit all the money Luka Modric sales to the club. They allegedly embezzled funds up to 15 million euros (Rp 221.95 rupiah).
Luka Modric was presented as a witness to discuss the matter in court, June 13, 2017. However, the prosecutor accused the player of lying because of uncertain and had rectified his words.
Related case, Luka Modric threatened maximum jail term for five years. However, Real Madrid has not given any statement about the problem that befell the Croatian midfielder until now.
